Ceramic Commons celebrate open-source environment, and digital 3D technology that allows us to send and share work across the world. We invited 10 artists working with a ceramic extruding 3D printer, and asked them to join the project by sending their work to us electronically. The collection of 10 works is printed in Boston, showing at Gallery 5 at Emmanuel College from 3/11/19-4/22/19. This is an organic process and an open ended project that provokes dialogues about sharing resources and issues around authorship and aesthetic control.
