This program is open to students in the Emmanuel Nursing Program. This zero credit travel course will have several course meetings throughout the Spring 2025 semester and will travel to Italy over spring break in March 2025. 

Travel Dates: February 28 - March 9, 2025

The program fee is: $3,742. This includes: airfare from Boston Logan airport, accommodations, some meals, entrance fees to excursions and activities on the program itinerary, and emergency health travel insurance. 

There will be two information sessions for this program on the following dates:

• Monday, September 16 at 4:15pm in the Wilkens Science Center, Room 107
• Thursday, October 3 at 2:00pm in the Wilkens Science Center, Room 113

Nursing students will visit Florence and Rome, Italy  with day trips to Lucca and Pisa during Spring Break in March 2025. While in Italy, students will participate in healthcare visits including: guest lectures on Italian healthcare, hospital visits and volunteering. Students will also engage in cultural activities including: city tours, a cooking class, and museum visits to Academia and Ufizi.

All Emmanuel students are eligible to apply for the Emmanuel Travel Award for Spring 2025 study abroad and travel courses. Awards are $1,000 and the application is due on October 9, 2024. Apply at this link: https://forms.office.com/r/EBZqJQQdjY

Students who receive the Federal Pell Grant as part of their financial aid award may be eligible for the Gilman Scholarship (up to $5000 for study abroad)!
