Join us for a book talk with Dr. Jon Paul Sydnor.

About The Great Open Dance:

"The Great Open Dance offers a progressive Christian theology that endorses contemporary ideals: environmental protection, economic justice, racial reconciliation, interreligious peace, gender equality, and LGBTQ+ celebration.  Just as importantly, this book provides a theology of progress--an interpretation of Christian faith as ever-changing and ever-advancing into God's imagination." (Further information on The Great Open Dance).

Dr. Jon Paul Sydnor is Professor of Theology and Religious Studies at Emmanuel College, Boston. Dr. Sydnor has received degrees at University of Virginia, Princeton Theological Seminary, and Boston College. Previous works include Ramanuja and Schleiermacher: Toward a Constructive Comparative Theology (2011), along with several articles and book chapters. (Further information on Dr. Sydnor).

Cosponsored by the Department of Theology & Religious Studies, Mission & Ministry, and the Library Learning Commons.
