What is a virtual race?
A virtual race is a race that can be ran at any location. You can use a stationary incumbent bike, bike outside or any other option to complete the 10mi distance.

How do I participate?
Joining in on the fun is easy! REMEMBER to practice current safety health precautions if running outside in an area that may be near other people.

Step 1: Print your COF “Social Distancing Virtual 10mi” bib! Bib will be emailed to you directly before the event, then wear it or photograph it with Colleges of the Fenway pride!

Step 2: Choose your route - You may already have a favorite place to ride, but here are a few options just in case:

  • Look for an established route - Public parks or bike paths often have routes with pre-marked distance.
  • Take a photo of your results on the stationary bike
  • Use a route mapping website - A few options are Map My RunPlot a Route , mapometer Strava (don’t need smartphone technology for Strava) OR any other format you are comfortable using

Step 3: Complete your 10mi ride between November 7th – November 14th

Step 5: Be sure to follow our insta: @cof_intramurals and twitter: @COFintramurals THEN Upload a picture of your time and any other pictures to social media with the hashtag #COFBikes (don't forget to make your post public so we can see it!) or email them to me at mtaney@colleges-fenway.org

Top 3 Men’s and Top 3 Open finishers will receive e-gift cards!!
