Book talk with Joy Houlder '19, Author and Illustrator

Join us for a lively discussion by Joy Houlder '19, author and illustrator,  of her journey and motivation to create her beautiful children's book, Calvin Dreams: And that he will be bigger than the moon!

"Calvin Dreams is a children's book that showcases a child named Calvin, exploring his fantastic and peculiar dreams with his stuffed bunny sidekick. Calvin and his bunny bravely dive into incredible dream worlds to explore the unknown, achieve the impossible, challenge fears, and even visit celestial loved ones. This book is meant to inspire children to dream and achieve outside of the box, especially children who have rarely observed themselves as the positive protagonist in a book"  (https://m.barnesandnoble.com/w/calvin-dreams-joy-deanna-houlder/1135194033?ean=9781734255300).

There will be a book signing and the opportunity to purchase a copy of her children's book following the discussion.
