Please join us for a virtual lunchtime talk with James Sutherland '11 discussing “The Ocean’s Role in Combatting Climate Change.”
James Sutherland is a public policy researcher and government affairs professional with over 10 years of experience working in the non-profit and government sectors. As Associate Vice President, Public Policy & Advocacy, James leads the Aquarium’s federal, state, and local advocacy and government relations efforts. Prior to joining the Aquarium, James was the Director of Policy and Research for the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce (GBCC), the Research Director for then-Boston City Councilor (now Congresswoman) Ayanna Pressley, and a lecturer in the Department of Political Science at Northeastern University.
