This past year, several Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur served at an immigrant detention facility in Dilley, Texas assisting detained women and children and listening to their stories. Join us in this safe space for questions and open discussion as Sisters Marie Prefontaine, Betsy Flynn, Patricia Shanhan, and Ellen Dabrieo of the SNDdeN US East-West Province share their experiences and thoughts on Catholic social teaching to educate and inform young adults.

This presentation is hosted by Widening Our Hearts, a new initiative by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur East-West Province. This group aims to offer opportunities for education, reflection and service to adults seeking spiritual growth and a Catholic perspective on contemporary issues, rooted in the Notre Dame de Namur charism.
