A screencast is a digital recording of your computer screen that is often accompanied by audio narration. Screencasts are popular for capturing PowerPoint presentations, creating tutorials on how to use software, demonstrating how to locate resources on the Web, and capturing other outputs connected to the computer, such as tablets and document cameras.
