The Charles J. Connick Stained Glass Foundation presents the 2013 Orin E. Skinner Annual Lecture
Charles Donagh Maginnis (1867-1955), recipient of the AIA Gold Medal for Achievement in 1948, was the foremost architect and designer for the Roman Catholic Church in the United States during the first half of the twentieth century.
This presentation will look at ecclesiastical, collegiate and institutional commissions of the Maginnis & Walsh firm.
Milda B. Richardson, Ph.D., is on the faculty of the Art + Design Department, College of Art Media and Design at Northeastern University. She is an officer and former president of the New England Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians.
