High Tech Meditation with Rana Chudnofsky, MEd, Director, Education Initiative

Coupling digital health technology with ancient meditation practices, Rana Chudnofsky uses a health track device to demonstrate what it means to live in a scientificallymeasurable state of harmony in psychological and physiological processes.
Attendees will discover that by using on the power of their minds, they can alter their heart and heart rate variability which research shows may decrease such Stress-related conditions as anxiety, migraines, sleep disorders, PTSD - even addiction.
Ms. Chudnofsky has served as the Director of the Education Initiative at the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) since 2006. Ms. Chudnofsky is a frequent public speaker and also lectures at the Benson-Henry Institute's Clinical Training in Mind Body Medicine program (offered through Harvard Medical School Department of Continuing Education) as well as other continuing education seminars.
Her areas of specialization include relaxation techniques and cognitive strategies for clinical treatment centers, schools and universities. She received her training in Biofeedback from Boston Behavioral Medicine, trained in Vipassana Meditation at Vipassana Meditation Center, and is certified in Medical Qigong.
