COF Earth Day: Ecology, Food Systems and Human Health
Through his wide-ranging travels as a National Geograpic Explorer, Barton Seaver has researched the confluence of ecology and human health. He will discuss the risks and opportunites created by our current food systems and how our efforts to minimize imacts on the enviroment must equally consider how humans are impacted by the enviroments in which they live.
The lecture will be presented by Barton Seaver, Director of the Healthy and Sustainable Food Program, Center for Health and the Global Enviroment at Harvard University.
