Be A Big Sister!
A few hours a week is all it takes to make dreams come true. By becoming a Big Sister, you can be the confidant and friend who encourages a girl to do more, try harder and become greater than she ever imagined. Big Sisters and Little Sisters have fun together –
and create memories that last a lifetime!

School-Based Mentoring: For women 18+. This one-to-one mentoring program matches women mentors with girls in elementary school (grades 2-8).
Big and Little Sisters engage in many fun activities during their weekly 45-60 minute visits at the Little Sister’s school or after-school program. We ask Big Sisters to commit to at least one year. Sites are located in different neighborhoods around Boston.
For women 20+. This one-to-one mentoring program matches women mentors with girls (ages 7-15).
Big and Little Sisters choose when, where and what they do to build a bond based on shared interests and experiences. Visits are weekly and last three to four hours; after you have been together for 3 months, you may meet twice per month. Once you’ve reached your 1 year anniversary, we will continue to encourage and support you and your Little Sister for the life of your match! We ask Big Sisters to commit to at least 12 months. As Big Sister Association knows, it’s not about being perfect but being present. Spending time with your Little Sister consistently is crucial in forming a strong and lasting relationship. When you’ve reached your 1 year anniversary, we will continue to encourage and support you and your Little Sister for the entirety of your match!
