Class of 1971 Dorothy Day Endowment Panel Discussion
The College is proud to host a panel of distinguished alumnae from the early 1970s that will revisit the reality of life for students at Emmanuel during those turbulent times and how the era and an Emmanuel education affected their lives. Please join us for a discussion of “Changing Times, Changing Lives,” moderated by Dr. Bill Leonard, Dean of Arts and Sciences and Professor of History.
This event will also celebrate the expected completion of the Class of ’71’s fundraising campaign for the Dorothy Day Lecture Series Endowment. Beginning in April 2014, the endowment will fund an annual lecture on a topic that reflects the interplay between sociology, history, economics and political action and the connections between the late ’60s/early ’70s and the present.
Please join us at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 28th, in the Janet M. Daley Library Lecture Hall, Cardinal Cushing Library. You will also have a chance to socialize and reconnect at a reception following the lecture. Parking is available on campus.
Tickets are $25.00 per person and include the lecture, reception and parking on campus.
Tickets will be $30.00 per person on the day of the event.
